Surftrip Aug./Sept. 2009
Hey again!
This time I went travelling with my girl Karo for one month through the South of France and the North of Spain. It pretty much happened again, like last year...our bus went down... so in the garage we had the master mechanic putting together our motor, after 3 nights in the hotel we were able to drive on :)
had some problems again, but it worked the whole 3500kms! We started of just about Bordeaux at Lacanau Ocean, than Biscarosse, Mimizan, Moliets, Viex Boucau where we picked up my HHonolulu Events Partner Florian and kept on travelling with him to Biarritz, San Sebastian, Mundaka, Bakio, Zarautz, almost to Bilbao and back with a lot of stops again and one and a half beautiful days at Paris. We had a month of great weather, good surf, a lot of partys, great camping in our bus and we met a lot of great people on our way. Best times, especially when you travel with your girl and your best mate.

HHonolulu Surftour October 2008
Just back from Australia and Bali in 2008 - so here are a little too late some pictures of the HHonolulu Events Surftour in October 2008. We bought a VW Bus just 3 days before our trip started, got it licensed, insurance and new Tüv, but just after 400ks it broke down and had a major motor problem.
So fortunately we are in the Automobile Club for Germany and got a rental car for the next 7 days...
So we started off again and finally reached our goal, the german championships, unfortunately they were over...it took us about 4o hours to get there, just missed th big party.
Anyway we met Finn and Kim, a very talented surfer from Sylt and started travelling with them.
Seignosse (France) - Hendaye (France) - Mundaka (Spain) - Bakio (Spain) - Zarautz (Spain) - San Sebastian (Spain) - Moliets (France) and back to Hamburg.
Lot of fun, smoke and surf and cold, gnarly weather in france and nice late summer in spain!
Surfing in Ireland
This is a new start to continue my travel-surfblog.
Next on was Ireland.
That was my Surfing Trip to Ireland in june 2009.
Went trippin with my irish friend Enda, aka the irish guy I met on Bali.
Great times, heaps of expensive dark beer and surf.
Unfortunately the swell died off after the first days, but still it was surfable.
My conclusion of everything, Ireland is highly underestimated and always a good
trip worth, even though the water is freezing and the booze is very expensive
